Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of ValueQuest (“the Service”), operated by [Capably, Inc.]. By creating an account you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of any child you add. You are responsible for your account, for supervising your children’s use, and for the accuracy of information you provide. Children do not create their own accounts and use the Service only under your control.
2. What ValueQuest is — and is not
ValueQuest is an educational family tool. XP, levels, badges, streaks, rewards, “commissions,” and any money amounts in the Service are simulated and family-tracked only — they are not real money, not a stored-value or bank account, and not a financial product. Any real payments between you and your child happen offline, at your discretion; ValueQuest only helps you record them. ValueQuest does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice and is not a bank, money transmitter, broker-dealer, or investment adviser.
3. Subscriptions, billing & refunds
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) after any free trial. Your subscription renews automatically until canceled; you may cancel anytime via “Manage subscription,” and access continues through the end of the paid period. 4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service unlawfully; upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content; access other families’ data; disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service; or use it to collect information about children other than your own.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you and your family create. You grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service. Proof photos are auto-deleted on a retention schedule.
6. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any warranty of particular educational or financial outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Capably, Inc.] is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for real payments you choose to make to your children; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior [12] months. 7. Termination & governing law
